At Charminster Chapel, we believe God has called us to be generous givers, whether that be through our time, using our gifts to help other people, or financially.

Why do we believe God has called us to give financially?

For us, financial giving, has more purpose behind it than to just keep the church lights on and running in a practical sense - we believe that God has instructed us to give financially as a demonstration of obedience. Everything that we have, we believe, is a gift from God.

Therefore, giving financially is our way of expressing our thankfulness back to God. We give, not under obligation, but freely choosing to do so, with a cheerful attitude.As a church, we then use this not only towards the running of the church but also to bless others in return.
